Who's behind the Give Love on Christmas Day Project?
We are a group of registered nurses who happen to love spreading love to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
Trivia: We are all Scholasticans & UERM- College of Nursing graduates! :)
History
The Give Love on Christmas Day project started out as a random thought in December 2010. Joan and Kath were just having a normal conversation when Joan brought up the idea of doing something for the less fortunate.
On December 20, 2010, they went to a slum area in Antipolo and gave away 50 packs of snacks to the kids there. It was such a fulfilling experience for them that they decided to do it every year. Kate joined Give Love on Christmas Day group in 2011.
The Give Love on Christmas Day project is a way for the participants to pay forward the blessings they received. It also aims to make our less fortunate brothers and sisters feel loved this Christmas season.
